| These silk knit briefs offer a snug, firm fit with a bare minimum of material for a light, smooth feel under slacks. The sheer fabric is slightly translucent and form-fitting, so expect a little bit of show-through, particularly in lighter colors. Coverage front and back is just enough.
These have a matte finish, not glossy, with just a hint of sheen.
They are quite durable, holding up to machine washing and regular wear without losing shape or elasticity or developing holes as cotton does. However, after more than a year, I did lose two of five pairs to runs, perhaps from catching on zippers. At $18 per, an investment, but worth it.
